When purchasing from us online, these terms and conditions give you all the information you need.

SHOPPING WITH US
Information on our website
We try our best to make sure that all information on our website, including descriptions of our products and listed prices are accurate at all times. However, if we do make a mistake we’ll try to resolve it as soon as possible, and if we spot that an error has affected your order we’ll do our best to let you know.
Pictures and images on our website are for illustration purposes only. For an accurate description of any product and details of what is included with the product, please read the product description.
We will do our best to check our website for viruses but we do not warrant that the website is free of viruses or other malicious content.
All products are subject to availability. In unforeseen circumstances we may have to place the whole or part of the items purchased on back order. You will always be contacted, either by email or phone, to advise of the delay with the option to cancel your order.
We will not be liable for any losses you sustain as a result of updating or modifying our website.
Placing your order
Your order counts as an offer to purchase goods from us.
After placing your order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement email. This contains details of the products you have ordered, the total cost of the order (including delivery) and an order number.
You can pay with all major credit and debit cards. We also accept PayPal
Payment is made at the time of order. If for any reason your order is cancelled prior to despatch, we will provide you with a full refund within 14 days.
All prices shown are exclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes. The product prices shown do not include the delivery fee, which will be added to your total order price.
If we discover an error in our pricing we will inform you as soon as possible and you will then be given the option of cancelling or re-confirming your order at the correct price.
If for any reason we are unable to contact you using the contact details you have provided we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you by email.
Any cancelled orders will be refunded within 14 days of notice of the cancellation.
DELIVERY GENERAL TERMS
About these terms
We sub-contract our Delivery Service to trusted transport service providers -DPD and Royal Mail

Delivery Schedule Overview
We aim to despatch your order on the day of receipt*. Standard UK Mainland delivery via our courier is on a next working day basis. Delivery via Royal Mail or to countries outside the UK Mainland will take longer. Please see Carriage Charges and Information page for further details.
* this excludes orders received after 1pm weekdays, back-orders, weekends and UK Bank holidays
If your chosen delivery option is via DPD, they will email or text you confirming they have received notification of the despatch and provide you with tracking information. They will then notify you again regarding your 1 hour delivery slot and explaining your options, should you not be available to receive.
If your chosen delivery option is via the Royal Mail, we can only provide tracking information for the Royal Mail options that state Tracked (this excludes all 2nd Class Standard and Signed for options . This is available upon request to firstname.lastname@example.org – please include your web order number and date of order.
In the event of any unforeseen circumstances (such as lorry breakdown, traffic accident, major traffic delays or severe weather) we will do our best to contact you to rearrange an alternative delivery timeslot or date. We will not be responsible for any losses (including loss of revenue, profits, anticipated savings, goodwill or business opportunity, for any injury to your reputation) incurred due to a delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond our control.
Please Note: All TME instruments are warranted for two years against manufacturing defects.
We do not, however, offer a warranty with regards to probes
Your statutory rights are not affected
Within 30 days of Delivery
If items are faulty or damaged upon delivery, please notify us by phone +44 (0) 1903 700651 or email email@example.com within 30 days of receipt.
We will request that you return the item(s) to us within the 30 days for evaluation. You have the right to choose between replacements or a full refund. Please retain proof of your return carriage charge as a refund of basic return carriage charges will be made.
Nothing in these terms affect your statutory rights.
After 30 days and Up to 6 Months from Delivery

We will request that you return the item(s) to us within a reasonable time frame for evaluation. Please obtain proof of postage/tracking information and proof of carriage costs.
Evaluation Results –
If the item is deemed faulty due to a manufacturing default we will despatch replacements within 7 to 10 working days. Please retain proof of your return carriage charge as a refund of basic return carriage charges will be made.
If the item has been evaluated to have been mishandled, not used according to its intended purpose or deliberately damaged, we will contact you within 4 to 7 working days to advise and discuss a chargeable replacement. Note – return carriage costs will not be refunded in such cases.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATION
You have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
You need to notify us by email at email@example.com of your wish to cancel your order within this time period.
You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify us of your cancellation to return the goods.
Cancellation prior to despatch
A full refund will be made within 14 days of TME receiving your request to cancel the order.
Cancellation/Returns after goods have been despatched/delivered
Unwanted goods - We will request that you return the item(s) to us. The items must be unused and in their original packaging. The items must be received within the 14 days of your intended returns notification. A refund of the full cost of the items returned to us will be made within 14 days of TME receiving the returned items.
Please note TM Electronics (UK) Limited will not refund return carriage charges for unwanted goods.
You are advised to obtain proof of postage or tracking details for the items returned as we will not accept responsibility for any returns that are lost in return transit.
You can now recycle your old digital thermometer with us on a like for like basis.
For example if you're buying a new thermometer, we will recycle your old one for free.
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination - harming wildlife and also human health.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
